The Consortium was formed in 1997, bringing together 6 centres (Thermal Spas and Thalassotherapy Centres). It was created in order to promote and strengthen the Region of Murcia?s wellness offer, taking advantage of synergies in order to optimise positioning.
Our association is a guarantee of quality, professionalism, respect for the environment and know-how in the wellness tourism sector.
Our philosophy is to provide health and well-being through water-based treatments (hydrotherapy). All our members offer ancient treatments as well as the latest innovations.
Both Thermal Spas (balneariums) and Thalassotherapy Centres have doctors to provide information and advice about treatments.
We promote the Region of Murcia?s wellness offer and provide training for our members? staff. We also work with Tourism colleges, providing information about the product.
Today, 10 years since its formation, the Consortium has 11 member centres, having expanded its scope some three years ago to include spas, as they also use water as a means to recovery, relaxation and well-being.
Murcia is the only region in Spain to have a business association such as ours, which brings together all three sub-products. As such, we are a reference point at national level in this respect.
We offer extensive variety: stays for all budgets, inland or coast, apartments to 5-star hotels, thermal mineral spas, thalassotherapy centres or hotel and resort spas, the Mar Menor or the Mediterranean Seas.
We offer personalised treatments that are tailored to the client?s real needs at the precise moment when seeking treatments of this nature.
